Knowledge is the knowledge based development engine that paying attention to it, has an increasing role in the growth of organizations and communities. Knowledge is known as a key competitive and valuable asset that is a basis for sustainable growth and a key to sustain competitive advantage in an organization. Also, considering the importance of the crisis which causes the deviates from the general equilibrium relationship with environment and disturbs the balance between needs and resources and ultimately leads to the demise of the organization, the role of crisis management as a practical knowledge and one of the key activities in the field of strategic management, has a particular importance.
The main and deep gap between nations is in terms of knowledge and ignorance. “Knowledge” is the most important investment and most effective tool for development and progress of communities and countries. So initially you must understand the organization’s crisis and then with appropriate react, tries to control and transform the crisis into an opportunity. In this situation “knowledge” is “ability”. Organizations that have realized the importance of knowledge management and crisis management, try to have proper management to use in their processes as a key investment effectively. In this paper knowledge, knowledge management and crisis management followed, to their impact on the organizations investigated. In this paper, after describing the knowledge, knowledge management and crisis management, the impact of them on organizations are discussed.
