About This Project

The Public Libraries Foundation is governed by the Law on the Establishment and Management of Public Libraries since 2003, and is the legal guardian of the Office of Public Libraries in Iran. According to the Law, construction, equipping, rehabilitation, development, management, supervision and other public libraries throughout the country are governed by this law.

The Public Libraries Foundation has 3338 libraries under its management, of which 6 methods are financed.
